Throughout the duration of this project, I've learned quite a few things. Firstly, I managed to learn and use Touchdesigner as a new software that I have no experience in. I think I managed to explore quite a bit on this software from online resources, however I still have a lot that I am not sure about and is still looking into developing a proper skill for this software. Secondly, in terms of topic and concept idea, I think I fell short on topic research hence my concept is not strong.
After receiving much feedback within the 7 weeks of this module, I think there's still much for me to progress on for my Major Project. The development that I showed for my final outcome falls short in terms of being able to provide a good and strong showcase. Therefore, I will definitely be trying my best to improve my project overall before we advance to Major Project 02.
As such, there were also many challenges that I faced during this module. Learning a completely new program with no guidance except online tutorials was very challenging. However, again it was a good experience and I think that Touchdesigner will and can provide a good outcome so I intend to continue using it for my Major Project 02. I will also be looking into doing more research as I struggled to realise that my concept is generic and is probably not the best suited for my topic of self-expression.
